Arthritis and Aromatherapy: Distance Learning: CPD – 6 points (IFPA) / 5 points (FHT)
Arthritis and Aromatherapy: Distance Learning takes a comprehensive approach to understanding how aromatherapy can effectively address arthritis. It begins by examining the client’s presenting symptoms and how to select appropriate essential oils and carrier oils. The course thoroughly explores various methods and mediums of application and blending oils for specific situations.
Arthritis and Aromatherapy: Distance Learning provides in-depth knowledge about different types of arthritis and equips you with the tools needed to make informed decisions about treatment options and the application of essential oils. Therapists are empowered to enhance their well-being and effectively manage challenges related to arthritis. With an increasingly aging population, therapists will probably encounter more clients with this painful and debilitating condition. How can we be effective in our treatments for this client group? This informative course allows the therapist to look at gout, rheumatoid, and osteoarthritis, medications that may have been prescribed, diet, and other lifestyle issues that can affect these conditions.

What to Wear?
Students at the Academy are encouraged to be relaxed and at ease. For this reason, it is recommended loose comfortable trousers and tops are worn that enable easy movement and do not restrict the body. All loose tops and shirts should be tucked in to prevent ‘trailing’ on the client for practical courses. Shoes should be flat-heeled and comfortable.
