Massage in Pregnancy
Some therapists can find massaging pregnant clients daunting, when actually this can be a most rewarding ‘type’ of client to treat.
We have put together an interesting day which explores the different massage techniques and positions that can be employed with your pregnant clients.
Massage positions which are comfortable for your client will be demonstrated for all three key stages of pregnancy with massage movements designed to relax both mother and baby. Massage for certain pregnancy based conditions, such as lower back pains or calf cramps, is also discussed and taught.
The day also covers the development of the foetus, discussion around partner involvement and practical sessions including massage for labour
This course complements the Aromatherapy for Pregnancy Course for Aromatherapists.
