Description
The Diploma in Clinical Aromatherapy Course consists of four in-house modules of 5 days each. You will complete each module and the required assessments successfully before proceeding to the next module under the guidance of a personal tutor, enabling you to produce a high standard of work.
Upon successful completion, you will be awarded the Penny Price: Diploma in Clinical Aromatherapy. This can be posted or presented to you personally, at a special graduation ceremony. You are advised to take between 12 and 36 months to complete all modules, although you are not penalized for taking longer. While studying, you may apply for insurance as a student practitioner.
We offer personal tutor support, via email and telephone (01455251020) so that you can receive help and encouragement at any time during the learning process.
The Aromatherapy Course is assessed by:
- 2 ½ hour written examination in-house
- 2 ½ hour practical assessment in-house
- 50 hours of case studies
- Continuous assessment by essay and assignment
To gain your full diploma and be issued with your certificate you will need to hold qualifications in both Anatomy and Physiology and Business Studies as core learning. If you already hold such a qualification to the same level, we would just need evidence of this. Attendance in Module 1 is enough for those who wish only to use essential oils safely at home, to help their family and to enhance their own life.

What to Wear?
Students at the Academy are encouraged to be relaxed and at ease. For this reason, it is recommended loose comfortable trousers and tops are worn that enable easy movement and do not restrict the body. All loose tops and shirts should be tucked in to prevent ‘trailing’ on the client for practical courses. Shoes should be flat-heeled and comfortable.
